Ami Moon and the Galactic Peacekeepers: Book One [Paperback]

Hello and welcome to the Galactic Peacekeepers Society...

Today is the beginning of your incredible journey to explore, be curious and open with others, and to help spread the mission of Peace with your teammates. Peacekeeping is hard. You will feel angry. Confused. Sad. But it is okay.

We will take care of our galactic neighborhood together!

The first book in a irrepressible and breathtaking graphic novel trilogy about a lost human girl, her fellow crew of Peacekeeper aliens, and their missions all across the galaxy — all while Ami tries to get back home to Earth and the mom and dog she left behind.Ami Moon and the Galactic Peacekeepersintroduces an unforgettable protagonist and a singular author-illustrator debut from Frances Lee.

Frances Lee is a Canadian-Korean tattoo artist who writes stories when not designing for clients. Born and currently living in Toronto with a very awesome toddler Maverick and a bird named Dean, she often finds herself pondering about outer space and wishing for the ability to walk through walls. Ami Moon and the Galactic Peacekeepers, the first book in a trilogy, is her debut.

Each new environment showcases Lees quirky design sensibility and aesthetic flexibility. What really sets the book apart is Lees visual style... Lee plays around with perspective, layering, color, and texture to give each page its own distinct vibe, and the heightened level of formal ambition makes Lee an especially exciting new voice in the kids comic landscape.
