The book provides a much needed understanding of medication. Hopefully the book will be updated through further editions
A consise overview from a S/W or AMHP perspective of a predominantly medical model; usefl refernce guide for practitioners to use on a day to day basis giving a quick overview. Clearly set out with headings for quick use.
Dislike: thinly/poorly referenced - would have liked more books, websites. Too short to be of great relevence beyond a quick 'look up.
Chapter 5 should be extended and split up inot at leats 3 seperate chaptersI like that it's clearly written and easy to understand. I dislike that it isn't overly critical of medication and medical discourse in psychiatrist.The importance of psychiatry and medication for AMHPs
