Opening the pages ofMister Got To Go, Where Are You?, a delightful picture book about the resident cat at the Sylvia Hotel, is like curling up in an overstuffed armchair and enjoying a satisfying visit with a much loved friend. Book sequels are sometimes contrived affairs which rely heavily upon the popularity of the first effort, and they often prove disappointing to the reader. This is definitely not the case with Lois Simmie's latest story. . . Cynthia Nugent's watercolour illustrations richly illustrate and extend the lost cat's experiences in strange and dangerous surroundings.
