Lately, Ana has been worried about her sister Lucy. It's been a long time since Lucy left the house, or someone came to visit. Maybe Ana can help her find a friend?

There's just one problem: Ana is a ghost. How can she help her sister when no one can even see her?

And then one afternoon, someone does…

The debut picture book from Jen-Ai Elena Molineaux is a beautiful story of friendship across generations, sisterhood through the years, and the belief that those whom we love who have passed away still care about us.

Jen-Ai Elena Molineaux is an illustrator and graphic designer from Colombia. She graduated with a MA in Children's Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art, where she first explored the story for A Friend for Lucy. Her stories are inspired by her own surroundings, family and friends, and the diversity of her home country. When she's not drawing, Jen-Ai enjoys learning about bookbinding, paper engineering, animation, and writing (to name a few interests). A Friend for Lucy is her debut work.

Told in graphic novelstyle panels, the sequences are extremely easy to follow, and the agreeable third-person narrative flows well alongside the speech bubbles. Vintage-style sepia drawings made from scratchy charcoal lines and digital coloring feel appropriately timeless& A tender tale of community, connection, and family."
