Karren Boehr grew up in a dentist's home, became a registered nurse, and currently serves as the public relations director of Henderson Health Care Services in Nebraska. She writes a weekly column for four area newspapers, has authored a pre-teen book (Ants In The Sugar Bowl), and teaches creative writing and short story and play development with the Nebraska Artists-in- Residence Program. She lives on a farm in Nebraska and writes and directs plays for her church of 1,000 members.
