Don Kulick is an internationally recognized anthropologist and professor. He is the author of Travesti: Sex, Gender, and Culture among Brazilian Transgendered Prostitutes and coauthor of Loneliness and Its Opposite: Sex, Disability, and the Ethics of Engagement and Language and Sexuality.
