A very useful text for those interested in knowing more on the new developments of applied statistics. The authors explain key concepts of meta-analysis in a comprehensive way and provide the reader with a clear guide to carry out meta-analysis and interpret results. I have found appendices, macros and examples very useful.I decided not to use the book in my class, but bought it as a personal reference and to augment the text that will be used in the classLipsey & Wilson offer a comprehensive and detailed explanation of the different ingredients implicated in Meta-Analysis. The book is written in a very friendly pedagogical style.Did not cover e content in enough detail to justify costPractical metal.
