The Goldfish And Its Systematic Culture With A View To Profit [Paperback]

First published in 1883 and long out of print, The Goldfish and Its Systematic Culture is a a practical treatise on the goldfish and its varieties, its propagation and care, enemies and diseases of the fish in captivity, together with useful information on the construction and maintenance of ponds. The author, Hugo Mullert, writes, The originality of the method I describe in the following pages I claim as my own, and it has been my earnest endeavor to speak plainly and to the point, giving the full results of my long experience, not intentionally withholding any facts or secrets that would in any way have a bearing upon the success of the business. This method has the decided advantage of applying equally to the culture of goldfish, no matter upon what scale it is carried on, whether the establishment is intended to produce hundreds of thousands of fish annually, or be engaged in with limited means by anyone who wishes to add something to a restricted income. ?This book includes numerous illustrations and has been newly designed and typeset by Waking Lion Press and published with the green technology of print-on-demand using acid-free, archival-quality paper. An essential volume in the library of every goldfish fancier.
