His poetry appeared in numerous Chinese and Japanese newspapers throughout his time in the Far East.Sapajouwas the pseudonym of Georgi Sapojnikoff, a refugee from the Bolshevik revolution and a political cartoonist for theNorth-China Daily Newsand theNorth China Herald.
