This fourth volume in the Readings in Conservation series aims to promote critical thinking about the concepts and practices of textile conservation and to encourage engagement with new issues. Mary M. Brooks, textile conservator and educator, works as a museological, conservation, and textile consultant for universities and museums. Brooks is an honorary research fellow at the University of Glasgow. Dinah D. Eastop, textile conservator and educator, works as a consultant in conservation and material culture studies for universities and heritage organizations worldwide. Eastop is an honorary research fellow at the University of Glasgow.
