Michael A. Peters (PhD, FNZAH, FRSA, FRSNZ, FPESA) is Distinguished Professor of Education at the Faculty of Education, Beijing Normal University, and Emeritus Professor in Educational Policy, Organization, and Leadership at the University of Illinois at UrbanaChampaign and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Auckland. He is the Editor in Chief of Educational Philosophy and Theory and founding editor of ten other international journals.
