This book presents a state-of-the-art overview of the research and development in designing electrode and electrolyte materials for Li-ion batteries and supercapacitors. Further, green energy production via the water splitting approach by the hydroelectric cell is also explored.
Anurag Gaur is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. Dr. Gaur has published more than 100 research articles in peer-reviewed reputed journals and has led or been involved in over 07 national and international projects funded by various government agencies (e.g. SERB-DST, CSIR, etc). He has 14 years of research experience in Nanomaterials synthesis and developed Supercapacitors, Lithium-ion batteries, Hydroelectric cell and Spintronics devices. He has guided 07 Ph.D. and 50 M.Tech students for their thesis work. His h-index is 22 and i10-index 47 with 1450 citations and filled 03 patents. He has served as a reviewer for several high-impact journals and delivered over 50 talks at various National/International conferences. He did his Ph. D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 2007. He has been granted the Best Faculty award by National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra in 2018.
