Brendon Hyndman is Associate Dean (Research) of the Faculty of Arts and Education at Charles Sturt University, where he also holds an Associate Professor of Education position within the School of Education. Hyndmans research career and approaches have largely revolved around his teaching philosophy of promoting participant-centred and autonomous approaches to education. His widely disseminated PhD research was based upon exploring both student-centred (and studentinformed) strategies to provide improved activity choices within outdoor-school-recreation settings.
