From Futurist cosmology to informal polymaterialism, Prampolini and Burri's oeuvres typify the avant-garde in Italian art, while laying groundwork for Arte Povera

This publication brings together the work of two 20th-century Italian artists: Enrico Prampolini (18941956) and Alberto Burri (191595), inciting a focused dialogue on material experimentation through Prampolini's Arte polimaterica and Burri's shift toward the non-representational.
