Heraldic Designs: Royalty-free images of coats-of-arms, shields, crests, seals, bookplates, and more [Paperback]

Thousands of wonderful motifs will inspire graphic artists, designers, modelers, re-enactors and others seeking to add aristocratic visual flair to a project and create logotype. This rich selection of royalty-free imagery was drawn from historic reference works created to instruct and inspire woodblock printers and engravers, as well as families and institutions seeking to create their own family mottoes. The selection includes state seals, royal seals, coats-of-arms, college fraternity emblems, and societal emblems, each offering ideas for borders and thematic montages. Additionally, there are innumerable images of animals, mythological creatures, nautical and military motifs, armor, rosettes, crowns, and much more.
