Working has Head of Bio-materials Research Center, previously worked has Associated Dean Research and Head of the Department. Had worked as PI and Co-PI for more than 8 sponsored projects from DST, AR&DB, GTRE, ICMR, DBT, BRNS and Faurecia Clean Mobility. Sponsored projects were aimed at development and studies on coatings for various applications like biomaterials, energy and sensors. Have conducted several corporate trainings on Selection of Materials and Manufacturing for Automotive and Aerospace Industries. Have supervised more than 30 PG students on material and manufacturing solutions for automotive and aerospace applications and 2 Ph.D. Scholars.
