Inspired by the T.S. Eliot's poem,The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock,Lovesongis a play that speaks to all generations. Origainlly oommissioned and performed in 2011 by Frantic Assembly, it was praised for being 'poignant and uplifting' (The Stage) and has since been revived and performed all over the world.

Abi Morgan OBE is the multi Emmy and BAFTA award-winning creator of The Split, River, Suffragette and The Iron Lady. She was awarded the Order of the British Empire in 2018 for services to theatre and screenwriting and recently wrote the globally acclaimed film Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.

Lovesong is the newest play from acclaimed playwright Abi Morgan.Abi Morgan's plays have been widely performed at theatres across the country, including Donmar Warehouse, Traverse Theatre and Hampstead Theatre. Her critically acclaimed drama My Fragile Heart was recently screened on ITV. Her plays published by Oberon include Splendour, Tiny Dynamite, 27 and Lovesong. Abi was the scriptwriter for BBC prime-time drama The Hour and was nominated for a BAFTA award for Best Original Screenplay for her Margaret Thatcher biopic, The Iron Lady.
