Sisters Such Devoted Sisters [Paperback]

Set in Glasgow's surreal underworld, this is a funny, soulful and deeply unusual coming-of-age story, tainted by the memory of a shocking and lonely crime.
Sisters such Devoted Sisters conjures up a world of exploding pigeons, a fire-hazard grandmother, Jack Russell's driving cars, shoplifting and a boy's first kiss.
But it is also the increasingly nightmarish and heartbreaking world of his drag queen alter-ego, Bernice Hindley - 'Myra's niece'.
Welcome to Glasgow.
