Since his discharge from the Army Air Corps in 1945, Jack Gordon has lived on and worked the historic Williams farm in the uplands of the town of Broome. (Williams was the captor of Major Andre, the British officer who was to receive Benedict Arnold's betrayal of West Point.) As a local resident, Jack has talked, reminisced and worked with the people who have now passed on. He has had not just a lifetime interest in town and country history but a curiosity to know, understand, and finally record how it was in the old days.
