This was particularly useful for this group of students as they are on an Education degree programme rather than a specialist PE programme and hence most did not come with any particular specialist previous knowledge or interest in PE per s?. Hence the topic areas covered and the very student friendly way this text is written was very helpful.The practical activities are useful comparisons for training scenarios. Much of the content is especially useful for non-specialists.This book is an essential text for trainee teachers in the Primary School setting.
