Dawn Caseydraws inspiration from her travels, folktales, and her deep love of nature. She is the author of
Winter Tales, and her collection
The Barefoot Book of Earth Tales won a Golden Nautilus Award, and an accolade from the American Folklore Society. In previous incarnations, Dawn worked in publishing and as a school teacher. All are books that celebrate living with the natural world. Dawn lives with her family in Lewes, in Sussex.
Anja Sušanjis a Slavic illustrator, born in Croatia, where she currently lives and works full-time. After having studied animation in Zagreb, she received an MA in Illustration at the University of the Arts London. Whimsical and peculiar stories and characters are a great source of inspiration to her, especially those from Slavic lore. Some of her favorite things to draw are plants, celestial objects, and fish.
