The author considers meteorology as a part of fluid dynamics. He tries to derive the properties of atmospheric flows from a rational analysis of the Navier-Stokes equations, at the same time analyzing various types of initial and boundary problems. This approach to simulate nature by models from fluid dynamics will be of interest to both scientists and students of physics and theoretical meteorology.

He also considers numerical simulation.Springer Book ArchivesNLGPSR ComplianceThe European Union's (EU) General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) is a set of rules that requires consumer products to be safe and our obligations to ensure this.If you have any concerns about our products you can contact us on ProductSafety@springernature.com.In case Publisher is established outside the EU, the EU authorized representative is:Springer Nature Customer Service Center GmbHEuropaplatz 369115 Heidelberg, GermanyProductSafety@springernature.com
