Return of the African Diaspora is a rich tale of history that is woven around the saga of a blended African-American family, whose lives are marred by missed opportunities, painful secrets, and a mystical love hanging in the balance.
?
Kristin, the main character of the story, and a college professor in the nation's capital, is brought face-to-face with an indisputable link between the African Diaspora in America and Mother Africa on an impromptu visit to Ghana. After returning home, she finds herself on a path that pushes her toward her destiny and she gradually learns to look for synchronicities left by the universe as breadcrumbs, to guide her way. As she helps her History students connect the dots between big business, the origin of racism, and other seldom-discussed factors of American slavery, she taps into the courage of her childhood (s)heroes to aid her: Rosa Parks, Lewis Adams, Booker Washington, and George Washington Carver.
?
Eventually, Universal Intelligence reveals the key to what she had been seeking - that salvation for descendants of those captured Africans, who had lost their footing during the American slave experience, would come from reuniting the Diaspora with the Motherland. Even still, Kristin knew that the effort required to accomplish this daunting task would equate to the effort required to fit a square peg into a round hole. There would no doubt be staggering benefits to both sides of the ocean if she were to succeed - but could it be done? Could Kristin to do the impossible, and lead the way home?
