As ex  head of department of the ophthalmology services at TN Medical College and BYL Nair Hospital. She has been instrumental in training and mentoring numerous ophthalmologists. Her areas of interest include retina, paediatric ophthalmology, squint and neuro-ophthalmology apart from her work as a Comprehensive and Seasoned Ophthalmologist.
