The Redemption And Restoration Of Man In The Thought Of Richard Baxter [Hardcover]

Originally submitted as a doctoral thesis at Oxford University in 1954, this book is published here for the first time. In it Dr. Packer provides a full and sympathetic exposition of Richard Baxter's doctrine of humanity, created and fallen; its redemption by Christ Jesus; and its restoration in the image of God through the obedience of faith by the power of the Holy Spirit.
