All Lions roar, right?Not Roary and he’ s supposed to be the King of the Jungle!Try as he might, poor Roary has trouble finding his voice. Can his friends help him find his bellow or will he be left with a tiny squeak?Rory Mather lives in sunny South-East Queensland with his lovely wife Georgia and their two dogs. Whilst the real Rory cannot sing and is not remotely musical, lack of ability has never stopped him from trying. His favorite karaoke song is Little Lion Man.Patrick Corrigan was born on a crisp, cold December day in a small, cloudy town in Cheshire, England. With a passion for precision as a child, he grew up patiently drawing and designing arts and crafts. He trained as an art teacher and eventually become an Art Director at a busy design studio where he worked for nearly 10 years. Whilst there he honed his skills working on well over 500 educational and picture books for children as well as animations and branding. Patrick specializes in illustrating picture books for younger readers.• Roary the Lion searches for his voice, and on the way realizes he can squeak, laugh, hiss, neigh, fart, but not roar• A parrot teaches Roary to roar through singing• Explores themes of resilience, friendship and determination• Encourages a never give up attitude and problem-solving skills• A fun and interactive story for noise makers• Now Roary's so happy he's started a choir. He croons deep and low and the parrot sings higher. He likes to conduct while the animals sing and whenever he roars… they all know he's the King.
