As a long-term research project and festival series within the context of Serpentine Galleries General Ecology project, The Shape of a Circle in the Mind of a Fishis an edited collection that convenes a wide range of perspectives to consider how consciousness, intelligence and language are manifested and expressed across the earths life forms. Interventions across the arts, humanities and science investigate the idea of mind across species and beings: inquiring upon animal, plant and fungal intelligence, consciousness and affects, machine sentience and interspecies communication.
