One of the two Ray Bradbury adaptations in the book, There Was an Old Woman (about a deceased crone who simply refuses to stay dead) provides the closest thing to a note of sweetness that youll find here  perhaps with the exception of the genuinely romantic A Little Stranger! and its loving marriage between a dead vampire and a dead werewolf.Ghastly Graham Ingels drew this collection of gruesome short comics stories with twist endings, often hosted by Ingels Old Witch character: ripped from the pages of EC comics such as Graham Ingels is the poet laureate of the EC horror comics. His stories are some of the most iconic of the entire line, full of newly revived corpses, horrific villains and some of the scariest moments that have ever been put down on the comics page.
