The Threshold: The Forces of Techno-Materialism the Struggle for Humanity [Paperback]

Explore the darker hinterlands of a world accelerating into a full-blown immersion of techno-materialism and its consequences for the human condition&

In an exceedingly relevant analysis of the modern technological world, Kingsley Dennis demonstrates that humanity is rushing headlong towards a critical and decisive moment for human civilisation which he terms the Threshold, where the trajectory for human evolvement is facing counter-evolutionary forces that not only reject the path of the human spirit but aim to sabotage our connection to it.

The Thresholdbrings the reader face-to-face with the intensifying issues of technocracy, transhumanism, AI-theology and false transcendence, and the re-defining of the biological human condition.

Also examined are themes of reality distortion, ?ber-nihilism, planetary re-shaping and environmental modification, neo-gnosticism, the sacred and the profane, and the task of evil in our current times.

Dennis explains that humanity is currently experiencing intense times for these years are a precursor to the critical threshold where the future for humankind will be decided. Humanity, both collectively and individually, will need to choose between a future of deepening profane materialism what the author calls the will to technology or a life that recognises the presence of metaphysical truths and the rising capacities of spirit-consciousness.

At this time, unlike any other in known history, in which the planet is engaged in a struggle for the presence of the human soul upon the Earth, Kingsley Dennis thought-provoking prose offers a fresh perspective on the future of humanity.
