Dr. John Long La Noue, Sr. Dr. John was born and raised in Texas and educated at Stephen F. Austin State University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his family have traveled the world helping people in disasters for the last forty plus years. He and his wife, Dr. L have two children, John La Noue, Jr. MD John II , a pediatric surgeon, and Lydia La Noue Slinkard, a housewife and mother of two girls: Rebecca and Laura, in New Jersey. He has been a pastor, a college minister and a denominational worker. He has been in North Korea so much they called him Halabaji (Grandfather) John. Many have called him Indiana Jones with a Bible and a Skillet. Dr. Kaywin Baldwin La Noue Dr. L was born in Illinois and entered the entertainment field at the age of three. She was in that field as a dancer/singer until she was twenty. She was Miss West Texas and .one of the Miss Talents for the Miss Texas contest in 1954. She was educated in Texas, receiving degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University (B.A.) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.R.E and Ph.D). She has been a public school teacher, Christian school administrator, and seminary adjunct professor. She is now a housewife, grandmother and volunteer for international disaster relief.
