Gordana Jovanovic Dolecek received a BS degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo, an MSc degree from University of Belgrade, and a PhD degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo. She was professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo until 1993, and  1993-1995 she was with the Institute Mihailo Pupin, Belgrade.
