It seemed innocent at first, the flattering attraction from a classmate at her night school; however, author Tina Van Wagenen learned firsthand how the temptation of adultery is one of many of Satan's deceptions of sex. Coupling these experiences with a dream from God to write a book, Tina wrote The Battlefield Letters to open Christians' eyes to sexual sins, and sex in society compared to what the Bible says of sex. Separated into battlefield sections, Tina defines several types of sexual sin: homosexuality, pornography, rape, human trafficking, etc.: all demonstrating Satan's vengeance against God and His created children. Her prevented adultery awakened Tina to how crafty the devil can be and how the world needs the divine mercy from God to repent of their sins. Rejecting society's views on sex, Tina encourages the godly belief of seeing our bodies as God's temples, respecting them in honor of Him.
