Ron F. Smith is a professor of journalism at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Smith has worked for newspapers in Indiana, Ohio and Florida, and published numerous articles in Journalism Quarterly, Newspaper Research Journal, Collegiate Journalist, Quill and Journalism Eudcator.
