Providing the chemical physics field with a forum for critical, authoritative evaluations in every area of the discipline, thelatest volume of Advances in Chemical Physics continues to providesignificant, up-to-date chapters written by internationallyrecognized researchers.
This volume is essentially devoted to helping the reader obtaingeneral information about a wide variety of topics in chemicalphysics. Advances in Chemical Physics, Volume 114 includes chaptersaddressing vibrational energy flow, discrete variablerepresentations and their utilization, the unified theory ofphotochemical charge separation, and the association, dissociation, acceleration, and suppression of reactions by laser pulses. The Decoupling of Electronic and Nuclear Motions in the IsolatedMolecule Schrodinger Hamiltonian (B. Sutcliffe).
Association, Dissociation, and the Acceleration and Suppression ofReactions by Laser Pulses (M. Shapiro).
Vibrational Energy Flow: A State Space Approach (M.Gruebele).
Discrete-Variable Representations and Their Utilization (J. Light& T. Carrington).
Above and Below the Wannier Threshold (A. Loughan).
Unified Theory of Photochemical Charge Separation (A.Burshtein).
Indexes. Specialists...explain recent developments for scientists working in other areas of chemical physics. (SciTech Book News, March 2001)
