Dr. Victor Pylro

Dr. Pylro is a microbial ecologist holding experience on molecular microbial ecology. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at Federal University of Ouro Preto/Brazil in 2008, and earned his Master's and Ph.D. degrees (Agricultural Microbiology) from Vi?osa Federal University/Brazil, with Sandwich Doctorate at Rothamsted Research/UK. He is one of the initiators of the Brazilian Microbiome Project (BMP http://www.brmicrobiome.org). At present, many microbial metagenomic projects underway in Brazil are widely known, and the main BMP goal is to co-ordinate and standardize these, together with future projects.
