The book is about Louie, the pharmacist who gets fired from every pharmacy job. He's accused of lying, stealing, sexual harassment, rebuking a customer, insubordination, getting kickbacks, and others. They are all isolated incidents with extenuating circumstances, coupled with a string of bad luck and ungodly hypocrites in authority.
The tumultuous pharmacy career finally catches up with Louie, and no one is willing to give him another chance or a break.
Louie ends up a washed-up pharmacist, and he's ready to give up his fight, until something crazy happens in the final round.
