The Nabataean Terracotta Figurines [Paperback]

An illustrated catalogue and discussion of 336 terracotta anthromorphic and zoomorphic figurines from Petra, mostly hollow moulded, which reflect the Nabataean's cultural interaction with Egypt, Parthia and the Hellenistic world. El-Khouri's dissertation includes a typology and a discussion of the continuity in style and subject between the 1st century BC and the 6th century AD.
