Shantanu Bhattacharya (PhD) is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and the Head of Design Program at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Prior to this he completed his MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas and a PhD in Bio-engineering from the University of Missouri at Columbia, United States of America. He also completed a post-doctoral training at the Birck Nanotechnology Center at the Purdue University.
