Wild in the Strike Zone is Tim Peelers third book of baseball-related poems. The topics featured range from well-known players like Mickey Mantle, Pedro Martinez, and Randy Johnson to the lesser known colorful heroes of the depression era outlaw Carolina League such as Sing-Sing Prison grad, Edwin Alabama Pitts and Canadian-born slugger, Vince Barton.
